Host an Event

An SRS can be held by a club, group, business or individual. Any and all club events must be pre-approved by the SRS Running Rules Committee. The SRS Running Rules Committee is comprised of 2 Amateurs, 2 Professionals and an SRS Official. The entry details should be developed by the host.

The first SRS Club event will be looked upon as a preliminary event and must be attended by an SRS marshal and an SRS scorekeeper. If at all possible we would like to use at least one judge with SRS experience in this preliminary event. The scorekeeper and marshal will each be paid a $100.00 a per day and all travel expenses, including food and lodging will be the responsibility of the host club.

The winner of every club event will receive an automatic bid to that season's SRS Crown Championship.

Entries will be held on-line at SuperRetrieverSeries.com. Event entry will be closed one week prior to the event. SRS can supply a complete catalog with running rules, and running order for a fee of $2.00 per copy plus shipping.

SRS Club Event Dollars
Handlers will receive a minimum payout of 40% of the total entry purse. Clubs will pay out a minimum of the top 3 finishes and a maximum of the top 12 finishes. 10% of the total entry will go to the SRS Crown Championship Pot.

All SRS Club Events will use Avery ATB's (Avery True Birds) or EZB's (EZ Birds).

SRS Club Events will not take place during the following events.
• SRS Crown Championship
• SRS Classic Events
• HRC Grand
• AKC Master National
• AKC National Open/ AKC National Amateur
